We and our clients are always on the lookout for top talent. We specialize in technical talent, healthcare IT, regulatory compliance leadership and talent, executive leadership, sales leadership and best-in-class sales talent.

If this sounds like you, then here are some things we’d like you to know about us and the process.

Our fees are paid by the organization that brings you on board, so the only thing you’ll have to give us is your undivided attention and “thanks” when we’ve found you that great new role. We’ll be open and transparent with you, and will expect the same in return. Here are some things to consider as you look to make a move, whether you work with us or someone else:

Don’t start this process unless you’re seriously interested in making a move. We don’t want to waste your time (and ours). You need to also be prepared to receive a counter-offer from your current employer when you tender your resignation. Spend some time updating your resume and be prepared to write a cover letter for each position you’re considering.

Once your resume is polished up and ready, email us your resume and it will get a careful read by a senior member of staff. If you don’t hear back from us for a few days or a week, it could be we’re deep in interviews with someone else or otherwise heads down. But we will give your resume a careful look and you should expect to hear back from us. It will NOT be shared outside of our organization without your permission, and you can rest assured that we will treat our discussions with you in the strictest confidence.

Our years of experience has given us insights into (1) the specific industries we represent, (2) the specific clients we represent for this role we’re discussing with you as well as (3) details and coaching of the recruiting and hiring processes.

We’re not even close to perfect, but we’ve been down this road many times and have helped many people improve their careers. We may give you suggestions about your resume, suggestions about the interview process, insights on the client, insights on negotiating the salary. Our relationship with our clients has been built upon trust. We hope you also learn to trust us as well.

One of our roles as we discuss things with you is to tell you important things about the client, the hiring manager and their team. Another is for us to interview you and check your references on their behalf. We will also probably be tasked with setting up interviews as well. If you pass our initial screening, we will kick your resume upstairs along with a writeup. If not, we may add you to our database and let you know about future opportunities.

As noted above, we strongly suggest you take a few minutes now and read our page on counter-offers. It could save you a great deal of headaches later.

Getting a new role can be frustrating and time consuming. It doesn’t have to be. We encourage you to ask questions. We’re here to try to make the new job process simple and to reduce the stress of looking for a new job.
